Hi, my name is Maria - thank you for looking over my website. 


My journey of becoming a counsellor began in 2019, where I gained a HE Diploma in person-centred counselling with Glyndwr University.


For the previous 20 years I had worked within the advice and guidance sectors - supporting a varied caseload of clients. 
I worked at; Womens refuge, Citizens Advice, various high schools, Foyer, Connexions. 
These roles lead me naturally towards studying counselling.


I work with individual adults aged 18+. 


Some recent training and areas of interest include: 
Rewind Technique, Neurodiversity, perimenopause, advanced diploma in CBT, relational depth, CPTSD, ACE's, childhood sexual abuse, sexual violence, diploma in child psychology, trauma, single session therapy, online counselling.


I provide a friendly, safe, open space to help you feel comfortable, heard and accepted.
